my hope...

What a way we go in life, full of storms and deep dark strife
When our lives are free and steered not by the blood our savior shed
My heart always cries to be in His hands, totally free
Deep down in my mind the word is not hard to find
But to push my body hard to let it be guided by my Lord
That’s what turns out to be hardest like an impossible quest
But where there is a will you can scale the hill

For I will make streams of living waters to flow in the desert
Don’t give up because I will go before you and level the mountains
Yes when you have no strength of your own to climb over them
For I long to have you by my side for eternity

..the rescue

I was lost alone in the darkness,
Shadows lurking all around,
Shuddering in the cold of the night,
Just praying i'd be found

It was then that morning broke,
And upon me a new day dawned
There was a little spark of hope
Lord for you my spirit longed

Fed up of being tossed around...
Down that road and across that river..
Lord Jesus please hear my cry
Lead me i pray, to You , Father..

It was You who heard my cry,
It was You who took my hand,
It was You who led me home,
Down into Your promised land..

You're the one who heard my call,
You're the One who set me free,
You're the one who took my hand.
You're the One who rescued me :)

the faith life

2 Corinthians 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

To live a victorious life, there are things you ought to give full consideration. Faith is not the denial of facts. Faith is acting on God’s Word in spite of contrary circumstances. For instance you may be feeling sick in your body. It is not faith when you say “I am not sick, I am only weak” like some people say, trying to deny the feelings in their body. It is faith when you declare God’s Word which says “By His stripes I was healed!” you refuse to consider or give attention to the pain rather you fix your eyes on Jesus who is the author and perfecter of our faith. Like I said faith is not a denial of facts, it is the refusal to consider those facts and rather consider that which is eternal and unchanging—the Word.

The circumstances of your life may not measure up to God’s Word you have believed and have been confessing. Don’t get worried at all. Do not stagger at the promise of God through unbelief; be strong in faith by giving glory to God! And like Abraham you would obtain the promise. The circumstances of your life are temporary i.e. they are subject to change! Like someone said, “no condition is permanent”.
The Word of God abides forever and that is the true source of Faith for the believer.
Believe and confess God’s Word in spite of contrary winds and you would be sure glad you did.

Isaiah 40:8 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.

the beauty within

I was walking…..
Then I lifted my eyes…..
In the distance……
I saw a beautiful and unique creature
I stood amazed
Who carved this creature
He must have been a good sculpture
Then I remembered
He is the Creator and greatest Sculpture

So I drew closer…..
Ah, such confidence in that look
Such beauty inside and outside;
Uniqueness exuded from this creature
Glory and excellence was not missing either
This Creator must be proud of His handiwork

I said to myself…..
Does she know about it?
Oh! That he would refuse to look down on himself or think he amounts to nothing
Potential is what I see!
Power is what is manifested!
This poem is about YOU!
It’s to tell you that….. You carry so much potential
To tell you that…..You are not like any other person
You have a unique and different testimony. Never belittle yourself

It’s to tell you that…..Your life is a testimony to many
Your very smile makes the saddened heart joyful
Your warm hug melts away every fear and confusion
That pat on the back encourages and motivates
Your quiet presence is all that person needs
Your very words are like a penetrating sword, which sinks into the depths of the soul and spirit
Like a mighty dynamo they carry power and bring about tremendous effect

Love, YOU have all that it takes to change a life
GOD created you for a reason and a purpose
He made you the way you are to fulfill that particular purpose
You are not an accident!
Neither were you brought into the world by chance
The Creator fashioned and intricately made YOU
Believe it or not, He is crazy about YOU
So in love words cannot express
He’s so overjoyed and excited to see you accomplish His purpose for you

Beloved, YOU are the apple of His eye…..
The one He desires to be with….
YOU, yes YOU

Don’t let Him down….Stand up…..Stand tall…..Remember you have potential…..
And make your Creator and Father proud
THE WORLD IS BLESSED TO HAVE YOU

Locate yourself in God’s purpose

And say to Archippus, take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfill it (Colossians 4:17)
As a child of God, it is important that you locate yourself in God’s purpose for your life and function in it. Functioning in God’s purpose for you will make your life count both in quality and in the impact you make in your world.
There are three basic ways you can find and keep yourself in God’s purpose for you. First it is by praying often in the spirit. Praying in the spirit helps to position you in line with God’s thinking and activate your spirit to receive His thoughts. When your spirit is activated, he’s then able to receive God’s signals, counsel and guidance. Then you find that your actions are in sync with God’s purpose and plan for your life.

Something else you have to do to locate yourself and function in God’s purpose is to focus on those things God has called you to do. If you keep your focus and refuse to be distracted, you’ll be walking in God’s purpose from one level of glory to another. Don’t push to the future the things God has asked you to do now; focus on them and do them NOW, for your future begins now! So now is the time to do the things God has asked you to do.

The third thing to do in locating yourself in God’s purpose is to meditate on God’s Word; assimilate His thoughts into your spirit. That way, your spirit will be conditioned to act in line with the will of God. If you do these things, the necessary result is that the Spirit of God will guide you into the perfect will of God for your life, such that you’ll never have to wonder whether or not you’re doing the right thing; you’ll know.

Prayer
Dear Father, thank you for granting me the length of days, and for helping me fulfill my destiny and calling in Christ. I’m running my race swiftly, pressing toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus, under the inspiration of your Spirit, and guidance of your Word, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Nothing is Impossible with GOD!

Jeremiah 32:17
17: "‘Ah, Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You".

Our minds tend to see our problems as big or small. Even when we pray for the sick, we say things like, “You have a headache? No problem. Let’s pray for your healing.” But when it is cancer, we say, “Oh, let’s tell a senior pastor or a bishop about it. It would be better if he prayed for you.” We think of headaches as small problems and cancers as big ones.

But that is not the way God thinks. There is nothing too hard for Him who made the heavens and the earth! With God, there is no such thing as a “big” problem. In fact, the “bigger” the problem, the “easier” it is for Him! In the feeding of the 5,000, it took only five loaves to feed the multitude. (Matthew 14:15–21) But in the feeding of the smaller multitude of 4,000, it took seven loaves. (Matthew 15:32–38)

In man’s scheme of things, it should take more loaves to feed more people. But this is not so with God. It took fewer loaves to feed more people. This is God’s way of telling us that the “bigger” the problem, the “easier” it is for Him. I am not saying that small problems are hard for God. But it is so encouraging to think that it is “easier” for God to heal cancers than headaches!

Imagine coming to God with a big problem. “So, what is your problem, dear?” God asks. You say, “Father, it is a huge financial debt — not thousands but millions!” He says, “Easy. It is already canceled.”

In another scenario, God asks, “So, what is your problem, dear?” You say, “Father, I have lost my job and I can’t find a new one. I am already in my fifties and I don’t have the necessary qualifications.” He says, “No problem. Consider yourself employed. And in this new job, you won’t just have a job, you will have a position."

U are blessed....not condemned!

2 Corinthians 5:19
19… God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them…

On which two ancient cities did God rain brimstone and fire? If your answer is Sodom and Gomorrah, you are right. But if you think that God was all eager to destroy the two cities, you are wrong!

God wasn’t willing at all. He was not on a sin hunt. He was on a righteousness hunt so that He could spare the cities. (Genesis 18:23–32) And I believe that if Abraham had asked God, “What if You can find just one righteous man?” God’s answer would have been the same: “I will not destroy the place for the sake of one righteous man.”

Today, the righteousness of one Man — Jesus — has come. Jesus died for our sins and rose again for our justification. God was in Christ, reconciling the world to Himself, not counting our sins against us!

Therefore, no judgment will fall on you today because it fell on Jesus 2,000 years ago at Calvary. And if God was gracious enough to remove Lot and his family before the judgment fell (Genesis 19:12–22), how much more will He do for you who are no longer under judgment!

And because God does not judge you, don’t be like Lot’s wife, who became a pillar of salt when she turned around to look at the brimstone and fire. (Genesis 19:24–26) She wanted to see God’s judgment, even though the angels had warned, “Don’t look back, lest you be destroyed.” (Genesis 19:17)

So don’t be judgment-focused, don't look back at the sins you have committed because God is not against you. He is for you and on your side. He remembers that He has already judged and punished your sins in the body of His Son. And because He is faithful to His Son and to what His Son has done, He will never judge or punish you. Any trouble that you might have today is not from Him. But He will show you a way of escape because He is on your side. He loves you and has your best interests at heart.

God is not out to get you. He is out to bless you. And He wants you blessed more than you can ever ask or imagine! (Ephesians 3:20)
